I can't stand his movies, so I'd probably hate it. I'd rather Matthew Weiner turn it into a miniseries.

Coen Brothers

And before you say no, consider their actual ability and versatility when they're not just being parodies of themselves like in Burn After Reading

Not everything should get a movie adaption.
In fact, nothing should get a movie adaption.

Michael Schur holds the film rights. Best case scenario, he's just going to sit on them so no one makes a shitty Infinite Jest adaptation.

Or you know, Edgar Wright makes an HBO miniseries.

People would come out of the theater with a million questions.

>Why did practically every character have a destructive chemical dependency?
>What the fuck is The Entertainment?
>What happened when?
>Is Alcoholics Anonymous a cult?

I have no idea how they would incorporate any of the footnote information either, probably freeze-frame narration.

Infinite Jest had a theatre adaptation in Germany. It lasted 24 hours in 24 different locations. The audience was transported from place to place in a bus, snacks, drinks and caffeine pills were included in the ticket. I only know this because my sister went, I'm a lowly pleb who does nothing interesting with her life.
