Her skin is decidedly too pale, it is unnerving and most unnatural. Though her lips are in the shade of red, they are put on, false, evoking only the knowledge and the shape of the color. Her appearence is groomed to a standard she believes set by others and ultimately ignored toatally in one of her most important assets. Her hair. Look at it, seriously. It is allowed a modality of style in a ponytail, with a dropping line across her face, but the hair itself is unkempt, unwashed and unhealthy. You can see the damage in the sunlight.

She doesn't understand the beauty that she has, she does not understand what beauty means beyond cultural tropes and the attempt to fit an image. Look at what she's wearing. She's TRYING to be gothic cute. Failure, bypass, bypass, negative.

Her brows are too heavy, even with their regular plucking. Her eyes though. I quite like them. My official rating is wouldgetcoffeewith/10

Name dropping: the post
Soy Cuba, The Cranes are Flying, and Letter Never Sent.
Andrei Rublev (the best B&W photography) and The Mirror
Barry Lyndon
I really like Woman in the Dunes' camera movements.
The Tree of Life is one of the best. It's not very flashy, but it's absolutely beautiful. Same with Days of Heaven.
Victor Erice's El Sur
The Mill and the Cross is a perfect example of hyper composition in film. The Color of Pomegranates is the original example of hyper composition, Parajanov is great.

Bergman and Kubrick have best character composition, Kubrick has some of the best cinematography, but Bergman makes good films. Mikhail Kalatozov, Malick Tarkovsky, Parajanov, Angelopoulos, Cassavetes, and Teshigahara all have GOAT camera movement. Ford, Bresson, Murnau, and Dreyer have the most practical and reserved cinematography.

The list goes on and on :^)
