Does Evola have anything interesting to say?
How true are his claims about the Kali Yuga and the best way to deal with it?

WHY DO YOU NOT READ ONE, OR TWO, OF HIS "WORKS"? THAT WAY YOU WOULD NOT ONLY BE ANSWERING YOUR OWN QUESTIONS, BUT WOULD COME TO KNOW MUCH MORE THAN YOU WOULD IF SOMEONE SIMPLY —MOST PROBABLY INEFFECTUALLY— ANSWERED YOUR QUESTIONS HERE.

Why do you capitalize everything?

I'm trying to decide if I want to read him before I buy Ride the Tiger. /lit/ seems like more of an authority than /pol/.

Download a pdf, or mobi, or epub version, and decide for yourself, dumbass.

Ride the Tiger was perhaps the only interesting one. The rest were pretty derivative, occasionally interesting but not life altering.

>true
>claims about kali yuga

Many right wing types don't even believe in it, they just consider it a convenient myth.

Some of his assertions are pretty crazy, like the stuff about hyperborians and atlanteans. Rene Guenon criticised his influence from Otto Weininger and Bachofen as not adding anything significantly meaningful to his analyses.

Well, they are physically true to an extend, but aren't metaphysically true, since
>eastern religion

It's like you want genre-fiction to be even more unenjoyable.

Read his books on Hinduism and Buddhism. They're much better than his politicized work.

You have two seconds to name an age that wasn't the Kali Yuga

You have twenty seconds to prove that the entirety of Earth's existence is anything but the Kali Yuga

>A kalpa is a day of Brahmā, and one day of Brahmā consists of a thousand cycles of four yugas, or ages: Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga and Kali Yuga. The cycle of Satya is characterized by virtue, wisdom and religion, there being practically no ignorance and vice, and the yuga lasts 1,728,000 years. In the Tretā-yuga vice is introduced, and this yuga lasts 1,296,000 years. In the Dvāpara-yuga there is an even greater decline in virtue and religion, vice increasing, and this yuga lasts 864,000 years. And finally in Kali-yuga (the yuga we have now been experiencing over the past 5,000 years) there is an abundance of strife, ignorance, irreligion and vice, true virtue being practically nonexistent, and this yuga lasts 432,000 years. In Kali-yuga vice increases to such a point that at the termination of the yuga the Supreme Lord Himself appears as the Kalki avatāra, vanquishes the demons, saves His devotees, and commences another Satya-yuga. Then the process is set rolling again. These four yugas, rotating a thousand times, comprise one day of Brahmā, and the same number comprise one night. Brahmā lives one hundred of such "years" and then dies. These "hundred years" total 311 trillion 40 billion (311,040,000,000,000) earth years. By these calculations the life of Brahmā seems fantastic and interminable, but from the viewpoint of eternity it is as brief as a lightning flash.
