Just finished the book, OP, and had the same idea as you. I liked the book better, but I hope you know your name brand clothing since that establishes status apprently. I sure as fuck didn't/dont know and the details in clothing descriptions drove me nuts.

I'm halfway through Less Than Zero and I kinda fucking hate it. Does that mean I won't like AP either? As in, are they written in a similar style?
