Just finished this. Really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to what Ridley Scott might do with it. What did you guys think?

Really enjoyed the book, it's not without is flaws, but I laughed out loud a lot and had a blast reading. I think it lends itself well to big screen adaptation. Which I think the author had in mind when originally blogging the story.

Quite poorly written, particularly the dialogue which seemed very lowest common denominator TV show tier, and the character which were completely two dimensional. Weir is clearly not a writer and either has a very poor editor or none at all.
Having said that I enjoyed the story being told, just a shame it wasn't better written.
Also the cover is one of the sexiest covers ever, needs to be recognised.

Great book. I hope Weir is not a "one time hit".

Man, there are some bitter people here.
