To expand.

Good is the perfection of the will.
Truth is perfection of the intellect.
Beauty is the perfect harmony between will and intellect.
The Holy Ghost is the love between the Father and the Son.

This was long decided and agreed upon. The male is simply physically superior. Spooks dictate your predilection for females.

>> No.6311137

Plato wasn't a pederast and condemned it in, I think, his Laws.
At the end of the Symposium he shows the virtue of Socrates as not giving in to sodomy.

He viewed the beauty of young men as a bridge to the contemplation of Beauty.

It exists out there, it's not just a word, even if we changed beauty with anything else, the emotions these combinations of qualities evoke will be the same. also I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface, it's like trying to describe color to a blind person.

>> No.6311247

Beauty is the categorical truth condition of a biconditional which lingers in the transcendental space of uncountably infinite reasons that are, quite frankly, our best friends.

Well, Epicurus, the Greeks perfected a set of variables for the optimal body proportions in art and architecture. This standard has been prevalent throughout the Renaissance all the way up to the neoclassical movement.
Edmund Burke then discovered that beauty lay in the sublime and not in the perfect, as was previously thought. This gave birth to the romantic age taking over from the neoclassical movement of static beauty. The chaoticness and emotionality of the romantic art then degenerated into expressionism, modern art and all sort of weird shit that liberals pretend to like.
