Literature is the shadows of Plato's allegorical cave. It's a complete waste of time. People that read literature are begging to be deceived, to be filled with bizarre notions and ridiculous conceits. It's an abuse of man's imaginative faculty, as masturbation is an abuse of man's sexual faculty.
