I think the moment I became a hack writer is when I started putting more effort into agonizing over what eye colour a character should have than than trying to find the perfect words to describe the feelings she has in the scene she's in.

But I can't help it. I can't decide if I'd rather the blonde be blue-eyed and risk the Aryan criticism or have her have green eyes and label her as a special-because-different-from-norm.

What I'm trying to ask is Blue or Green?
