What are some stories with other really good meetings between two characters who the reader follows for most the story and the meeting is kinda like a climax?

Think Legends of the Galactic Heroes. The viewer follows Yang and Reinhard's stories, but they almost never meet until they finally do nearly 50 episodes in, and this is really the only time they ever come face to face.

Meetings like these are tense as fuck and I love the build up to them.
