I'm a litizen that finally started reading ego and his own. I'm about 70 pages in. I got the gist of stirners philosophy from lit and wikipedia but a lot of this stuff is flying over my head. Ive barely read any philosophy books.

Obviously I shouldve started with thw greeks but is it typical to find stirner difficult?

It's typically difficult to find any philosopher difficult. It helps to know a bit more of where he is coming from. Hegel was a big influence on him even if his views were just a reaction to him
