Bought myself a recliner earlier this month as a christmas present to myself. Never have I read as much, nor been as comfortable doing so as now. The best of times indeed.

My local library only has two chairs in it. I'm in the UK though where any public service is getting drained in order to fill coffers elsewhere so it's probably a good idea if you live somewhere else.

Too comfy. Sitting up hurts my back/elbows. Laying down completely either makes me sleep or strains my neck.

it sux

Couch or a deep / reclining chair are all that work for me.

I personally need a table to read properly, I underline and annotate too often. But the chairs can't be too high that my feet don't touch the floor and my knees make a 90 degree angle. So it's hard. Nowhere is comfy enough. I just sit on the floor nowadays.

strangely enough, I'm most comfy at a desk. years of acclimation, I guess.
I just can't lay down and read or recline and read. it feels off to me.

it works out, though, since I like to have my notebook next to me while I read
