Lets have a smart discussion of Hamlet.

It was a really good play, what did you guys think about Shakespeares use of misogyny and the roles of Ophelia and Gertrude

think you should do your own homework, kid.

is that why you deleted the thread trying to discuss Hamlet so you can get help with your school paper? Just repost it without mentioning your homework and hope someone in /lit/ falls for it?

Get the fuck out of here, you high school child.

>post thread on /lit/ hoping for homework help on misogyny in Hamlet
>get saged into oblivion for being a stupid faggot who didn't read Hamlet for English class
>delete thread
>repost thread, omitting the fact that you're looking for homework help

You should just read Hamlet, dude. It's a great play. It's not like misogyny is even difficult to write a paper about. (1) find something insulting about the female characters, (2) write it down, (3) DONE!

>> No.601004

Dude just read it. Why'd you delete your other thread?

Go fuck yourself.

Okay. Start the discussion, OP. What did you think of the misogyny in Hamlet?

EXISTENTIALISM

There was no misogyny in Hamlet.

>> No.601134

>>601119
Agreed. If anything Hamlet was a feminist play. It was about the sexual liberation of Hamlet's mother, and it was heavily implied that Hamlet was was a woman. By killing Claudius, Hamlet was claiming her rightful spot as the Queen of Denmark.

>> No.601147

We told you, OP. Say they're Hitler.

While you're at it, tie it in with The Taming of the Shrew, which is of course about the Khmer Rouge.

>> No.601159

If Halmet were a women, does that make Ophelia and her lesbians?

>> No.601183

>>601159
of course. Having the only person in her world who knew her secret freak out and beat her like that is what broke her, leading to her suicide/accidental death
