Hey /lit/ I have a request

Help me understand Papa Friedrich's idea of the will to power.

As of now I've been reading Nietzsche casually for a few years and I've read through all his major works, so I'm not entirely new to it, and I have some ideas I believe are on the right track, but it just hasn't clicked yet.

I'm a little more comfortable with Schopenhauer's concept of the Will, so maybe I can learn about the will to power as it contrasts that idea?

To Nietzsche is it really "It" with a capital I? The basic force driving every event, organic and not?

Watch the movie Conan the Barbarian and absorb it's message. He fulfills the ideal of will to power and acts as an archetype for the Ubermensch

So who would be ubdermensch in our era? What would he be like?

In our era it would be Kanye West. Listen to his hit song "Power" and absorb it's message.

The Dude. The Big Lebowski is also a story about a man fulfilling these ideals.

Wille zur Macht

Macht in here cannot be truly translated to English; but a translation to French, as Volonté de pouvoir, yes, pouvoir, not puissance, would be more accurate; a will to power is a will to be-able-to; that is, that all life exists as an effect on its surroundings, and that the capacity of producing an effect on your environment is power, and the will to power, the most intimate essence of being, means to further affirm your existence.

Kanye has a cursory understanding of it, and is just a pretender wearing it like fashion. He's playing at being Nimrod

Conan the Barbarian has nothing 'ubermenschlich' about him; he's just what Nietzsche names a blonde brute; --- his endeavors are but masturbatory fantasies for manchildren.

Reflect long on this quote: "I have found strength where one does not look for it: in simple, mild, and pleasant people, without the least desire to rule—and, conversely, the desire to rule has often appeared to me a sign of inward weakness: they fear their own slave soul and shroud it in a royal cloak (in the end, they still become the slaves of their followers, their fame, etc.) The powerful natures dominate, it is a necessity, they need not lift one finger. Even if, during their lifetime, they bury themselves in a garden house."

that's why nietzsche hated his real being and wanted all his life to become a psychopathic manipulative filthy without moral barriers. It was his fantasy. Nietzsche is the epitomy of closeted-slave morality
