If reading Nietzsche comes after reading Schopenhauer, then who or what comes after reading Nietzsche?

Stirner comes after Hegel and after Stirner comes Marx. It's the dialectics of alienation line with Stirner mirroring Hegel: just replace Absolute Spirit with Ego (since Absolute Spirit is too alienating).

This, plus Deleuze and Derrida. And Freud and Jung before Heidegger. You can even add Bergson as a bonus (no direct connection, but some of their ideas are surprisingly similar).

You're done. Once you've read Nietzsche, go live your life to the best of your ability and stop reading books.

I was thinking more chronologically. Hegel, then Nietzsche, then Stirner, then Marx, etc.
But, w/e.

There is no particular order you must go in

Although if you're going to read Nietzsche you may as well read Kierkegaard and Camus

If you're going to read those guys you should also read Hegel to get away from existentialism

If you're going to read Hegel you should probably read Marx

Which means you should probably read Heidegger

At a certain point you'll catch on to the directions that philosophy is heading toward and what is on the horizon

Lots of thinking out there about the event and being

Back to Spinoza. Then you can approach Deleuze.

Or alternatively, take the Heidegger route.
