I haven't had the balls to dive into this yet, the one-star reviews are giving some second thoughts about buying this and makes me worried that he's using ten ten dollar words per sentence just to radiate an aura of pretense instead of, you know, _saying_ something, kind of like Heidegger. His recent blog posts make a whole lot of sense but aren't really breaking any new waters, just functionalism with some new clothes.

This would explain a whole lot, considering how Land's philosophy is just basically a collection of plotless post-scifi scrambles, short trains of thoughts and vistas of a cyberpunk West gone apeshit instead of anything cohesive like Badiou for instance even though he is a hack.
