You didn't use this qualifier initially, you said a white person walking around with a gun would not be shot. This may sound like quibbling but it's an important distinction to make because when you say unequivocally that white people can walk around with guns without getting shot by the police you're turning a blind eye to the many white people who have been killed by the police for much less.

It makes a universal issue like police brutality solely a racial issue, when race is only one piece of the picture, albeit an important one. This is something people who get too focused on social justice often do: they make complex issues all about race, or in other cases gender, etc.
