>Les Misérables Abridged
>It's still 334 pages long
What's even the point of an abridged if it's still fairly long? It's a waste of time. I wouldn't even be able to give an accurate opinion of the book, if asked for it, because I wouldn't know what's been removed for brevity. I wouldn't know what they full-length book is like. It'd be as if I didn't even read Les Misérables at all.

Is there any reason to read an abridged? If you don't have the time for the full-length book, then shouldn't you just not bother at all?

That's like a 4th the proper length of the book. That can't possibly be comprehensible.

And no, there's never a good reason to read an abridged.

Dude no don't read that shit.

It's worth reading. Great book. If you have to go abridged get one that's like 750 pages or something.

i read that book front to back in highschool and yes it can be a bit long; but when you see how their lives all tangle together in the eve of the rebellion its all worth it.
