I'm reading Amerika right now am I'm absolutely loving it, probably my favourite Kafka novel (and I've read all of the others). It has an almost haunting and ominous feel to it, having read the Trial and the Castle, reading Amerika just feels like watching a kids downfall into becoming K., a lonely man with a shitty desk job.

Ibsen's fucking brilliant. I'm reading a few chapters in different books analyzing and discussing different aspects of the plays as well as their historical contexts, and I keep discovering how meaningful one or another line can be.
