/lit/ wrote a novel - The Legacy of Totalitarianism in a Tundra

It's time /lit/ writes a philosophical book. A Tractatus.

It can be numbered and logically-derived like Wittgensten's book, or not. Let's discuss some ideas?

Ideally, the product would be interesting and not just a collection of ebik maymays :^)))) and "fuck him right in the boypussy!" exclamations

So I think it should be moderated.

Any ideas how we can do this?

It can be of historical importance.... the first philosophical work written by an anonymous collective.

Can we make it aphoristic and poetical like Also Sprach Zarathustra?

Yes, that could also work!

We already did and the OP took it to himself, changed stuff and added an atheist intro that made it impossible to read anyway.

Not by itself, but when it was a collective thing and suddenly it reapears without a possibility of edition with a page of the most fedora tier HS justifications of why god is dumb it takes the air out of a project quite easily.

There were other changes that made zero sense.

Break all genres down talking about how they are trite and terrible. Then break down why fiction in general is for plebs. Then build from there.

Why don't we just take a bunch of tropes and cram them into a YA fiction book?

>Stirner found Zizek squatting in the grass, groaning. Every stool was looser than the one before, and smelled fouler. By the time the moon came up he was shitting brown water. The more he drank, the more he shat, but the more he shat, the thirstier he grew, and his thirst sent him crawling to the stream to suck up more water. When he closed her eyes at last, Zizek did not know whether he would be strong enough to open them again.

We certainly don't need any more forced memes that are merely copypasting previous unfunny memes.

All in for the silly /lit sheanigans if you want, but can't we try to do it in a way that's not boringly retarded just once ?

I wrote this in response to another tractate that /lit/ wrote a few months back, around the same time it wrote Legacy.
No idea where the thing I was replying to is, though. Also, this was a first draft, so it's very rough. I'm told it's too Continental, but I was aiming for that.

It was a google doc and most of the fun was truncated by people, probably The Cats, erasing everything, stopping us for an hour or two with shit, and then having to start again.
Every day, that and midget porn spam. You just had to quit and go back an hour later to paste the lastes copy and move from there. It was quite the autist troll.

I don't know how /lit/ does it, but every time another board does a "collaborative writing effort", it ends up being a communal stream-of-consciousness mess.

Therefore the work should focus on whether or not logic can be derived from pure, unadulterated conscious thought.

How can logic be derived from anything but pure thought? What is logic but thought thinking thought?
The question you want us to ask isn't worth writing a treatise about. It's a topic that has been covered countless times in the past. Logic cannot be derived from anything but thought, and since thought will be the thing doing the deriving, it seems like the derivation will never be complete.

You tried to do this before

the best we could do would be anons submitting their own philosophy/views on life/whatever and we compile 500 pages of that.
