Is sex literature?
Can sex carry the same level of immersion as literature?
How would you define the sex medium, as a whole?

>> No.567972

having sex is messier than reading a book

>> No.567971

stuffing my throbbing member balls deep in your mother was certainly poetry

>> No.567973

sage

>> No.567974

Why would you pick such a god awful ugly image.

Jesus fucking cock eating christ. If you want to make a case for sexual intimacy being poetic, or even worth considering, why would you choose a such a high resolution image of the ugliest human appendage?

That's a very nice scrotum.

I agree. Her hands are terrible.

>> No.567988

lay off the pills, bro...

... you do not need to shower after reading a book.
And sex is not a medium, you idiot.
Thats like saying that driving a car is a medium.
Man, go back to annoy us with stupid questions about comic-books or "visual novels" (whatever the fuck they are supposed to be)

Good show OP. I'm tired of /v/irgins and /co/mrades and what not coming here everyday asking this too.
Why does it matter so much if it's literature or not?

reported, not so much for NSFW faggotry as for godawful picture faggotry.

If a particular act was more than just a brainless excess, if made you think, it certainly was decent lit

>> No.568174

>>568157
well, if an act was not at least partially a brainless excess, it must have sucked as a sexual act.

Because you did not climax.

>> No.568183

>>568174
Good literature is supposed to give you mind blowing orgasms? I guess I have a horribly outfashioned taste for books.

>> No.568185

>>568183
I don't know about your taste regarding books, but I know your reading comprehension sucks - at least here on /lit/.

>> No.568189

It's quite aristotelian to prescribe a telos to a sexual act.

>>567974
i like it. vaginas are ugly.

Yeah, we had to study Paris Hilton's sex tape in my literature class. Can you believe how much standards have slipped!? Not Joyces fart-fucking, not Oscar Wilde's arse-fucking that led to the illegalisation of homosexuality, Paris fucking Hilton. Honestly I despair for the state of literature today.

>> No.568201

>>568193
sounds exciting. Can you recall any of the main ideas points you were taught about the tape? To me Paris Hilton seems about as profound as Proust would seem to people with enthusiasm for Paris Hilton.

The gaze.
Celebrity logic.
That kind of stuff.

its aristotelian to want to get off? man, I gotta reevaluate everything I read by and about him.

>> No.568227

>>568211
lucky you! here we were reading the local equivalent of Geoffery Chausser. Maybe you could drop a line of how those concepts of yours relate to sex? It surely would make a librarian's sex life more happy.

>> No.568233

>>568223
Indeed. It's him who called an orgasm a small death. Every time you come your life's made shorter for about a day.
Still it was him who invented aims. Seeing climax as the sole purpose is certainly Aristotelian, it's certainly simplistic.

>> No.568241

>>568201
I don't know about it being profound, but it brought a whole new perspective on the celebrity sex-tape genre (even though it was nothing new, pam anderson anybody?).
I mean, we all know about its technical flaws, the lack of structure and the absence of a satisfactory climax. Its not masterfully crafted in any aspect.
But it basically established the sex-tape as an legitimate mean to achieve enhanced recognition. It spawned a whole flood of its kind.

That will be the reason why it will be teached in literature courses in the future as a classical work of investigative non-fiction entertainment.

>> No.568248

>>568233
you really opened my eyes here. With this in mind the whole cynical school of thought and their view of virtue gets a whole new twist to it.

Masturbation is everything man needs to be truly happy - nothing else.

>> No.568269

sex itself is not literature you retard

literature is at the very minimum, a bunch of words

illiterate people have sex all the time

ergo

sex is not literature

although what I think you are trying to ask is, "is sex art?"

to which I would say yes, just as a tea ceremony can be art

>> No.568286

>>568269
>literature is at the very minimum, a bunch of words
nonsense! the first literature was a bunch of sticks, not words.
