I met a Daria once except she was blonde, Cuban and had big boobs. Her parents were photographers or something and she worked at the Met as an art historian. My friend had a huge crush on her and invited her along with us one night when we went out. For all she read she couldn't sit down and try to understand how the people around her thought and felt. The unvierse kept beding over to make her be smart through other people's failings, like a toned down version of House, which is what happens when TV writers create a "smart" character.

Ive sadly never met a well read girl, even at university. Ive also never met a girl that jaded while at the same time being confident enough to be sassy.

The only girls I can think of that were close to being like Daria just dressed like her and were pissed off, however they were very vocal and active about it.
