>I have a 250 word sentence due tomorrow, I said to no-one in particular, posting anonymously on 4chan’s literature board, in some way hoping that someone would notice my witty riff on this familiar meme, although of course i knew I had no chance of impressing anybody with my nauseatingly self-absorbed babble, a poor man’s Krasznahorkai (who I was shamelessly attempting to pastiche, although I was forced almost immediately to realise that I was simply not up to the task in any way, that man being a genius, and me a fucking loser), and I was plunged into a despair at my lack of insight, talent, wit, and purpose, as I told the webgoers who were reading this inane string of babble, although in truth most of them had simply skimmed the green text and moved on without even getting this far, a derisery chuckle the most that any of the few especially bored patrons of /lit/ willing to see this through to the end might offer to their empty rooms, not even worth putting down in text, just a mild mutter of pity at the effort involved in producing this sentence entirely lacking in redeeming qualities, and so i was doomed to failure, I continued to the empty rooms, you see, count it, I didn’t make it, I couldn’t, it was too much for me and if anybody bothered to count they would realise what a failure I had been at this impossible task I had set myself.
