For you English monolinguals, do you ever get tired of reading/writing in SVO?

well, I had to google SVO, which led me to Saturn Valley Online, an Earthbound mmorpg. Now I'll probably spend several thousand hours on this game

Anglophone who reads in a few languages, and to be honest, different orders of SVO make me wanna learn other languages like Turkish and Persian, since le mot juste comprises all the semantics, unicity and flow of a narrative and each language has its own representation of that golden rule of novels.

i feel as if i wouldn't be able to appreciate literature in a foreign language as much as i appreciate it in english, unless i had learned english + another language in tandem since birth. am i wrong to assume this? if yes, what do you think's the best language to read in other than english?

I'm not super proficient (N2) but reading Japanese novels (Hoshi Shinichi, Abe Konbo, Natsume Soseki) is a totally different feel and definitely appreciable. I'm rusty as shit now, but when I was studying, it was very enjoyable.

Native bilingual SVO&SOV master race here. I feel SVO languages more comfortable to read though.
