Why do so many gays think that they're writers? Seriously, just about every gay guy I know writes a blog or poetry or short stories, and all of it is uniformly awful, sentimental slop.

I know it's a trap that a lot of millennials get into because they're pretentious and lazy, but it seems to be statistically higher among gays. Not even hating on them for being gay since I'm a bisexual degenerate myself, but it's just a trend I keep seeing over and over.

Thoughts?

Looks like you're trying to assert superiority over these guys.

Don't mistake cause with effect. They don't write because they're gay, they're gay because they write. Real men like me don't write anything. For example, I am not writing the words you are reading, a beautiful woman is. I am currently across a field chopping wood while yelling these words to [inaudible] so it is in your [loud sounds of chopping].

Not really. I mean, I am a better writer but just about anyone could be. I don't think that makes me superior to them. It's a low, low hanging fruit.

>>5553339
Yeah, I don't think so, either. I know a lot of people who are more oppressed (either racially or financially or both) and they're not nearly as pretentious.

If it's such low-hanging fruit, why are you making a whole thread about how terrible it is? Your actions aren't flush with your justifications.

You just want the ego boost of bashing on other gay writers who are obviously so terrible that you want to address how obvious it is. Nevermind the fact that you write yourself and you're gay.

I want to bounce this phenomenon off other people to see if I can find a reason behind it. It's obviously not the kind of question you could just ask in public.

>implying I'm gay

Come on now, bruh.
