/lit/ & /tv crossover...

They say to never end a novel with "it was all a dream." However, the movie Vanilla Sky ends somewhat like this. If it were a novel, would it be shunned because of the ending?

I don't know, but the movie sucked awfully hard.

Penelope Cruz? Ew.

one of my teachers used to say "Never do it... unless you can make it work."

Personally I think it would be shunned because it's a straight up bad, bad movie.

The literary equivalent would most likely include multi-page excerpts from Fellini scrips, Jack Keroac and James Joyce. And probably have pages with just a single word on it.

That's how fucking pretentious Vanilla Sky is.

Penelope Cruz shows her bewbz in Vanilla Sky and the Spanish version, Abre los Ojos. Schwing.

And also the story wouldn't be interesting, and it wouldn't make any sense, and it was suck, and I would hate it forever.
