"How can I think as little as possible while keeping my job as a professor?" Some of the more narcissistic ones ask "How can I think as little as possible and string enough bullshit together so the masses will buy my books?"

we want to know if all the things we were taught in school wasnt falsehood, and perhaps if there is more to life than what we are told. and if we were to discover what more to life there is, if we would even recognize it.

Is love real? Are morals true? Am "I" myself? Did I become me, or was i created by some one else? What is life for?

and this >>5485193 though, i tend to not care about that anymore. Im certain everyone else is just too crazy to realize how insane they really are.

Sanity is what is truly insane. Reason, though the source of all civilization, is the death of Reason. There is no more reason anymore. The life we live is merely a residual wave of what was once reason. A drifting ideal that is no longer a part of mans consciousness. The remainder of reason, Now is simply adhering to what is believed to be true; society is reason. But society is not reasonable. It is a guideline that can be stretched and twisted and pulled and warped. All society can be made to work, and it will work indeed, with reason. There is reason in all things, but Reason Like society can be made to work, even if it does not.

Sanity is following the course until the end of your life, never knowing if you were right or wrong. And never questioning it. And teaching it to new generations. And congratulating them for blindly following.

Reason is dead.

So all in all.. philosophers, we want to know why our attention span is so short and why we ramble in circles, and how to make sense of the world around us since nobody seems to want to listen, when if you arent a old man with a white beard wearing a toga, people dont believe you that you are a philosopher.

Is it truly cyclical ramblings if you only reiterate the truth over and over?

Reason Is Dead. And the only ones that use reason, are dead to the world. For the world is functioning perfectly. Why would anyone want to use reason to disrupt its precise motion?

Well, it depends.
The depths of human perception and the outcomes of all the propaganda we're being bombarded all the time, including how our precent time changed (or not) previous works on the field is something that interests me personally.
I'd doubt you could ask "what do scientists want to know" and get a clear resolute answer, you'd get a ton of small personal goals.

He had 20 years and all he did was a fucking forcefield to cover up the shit he couldn't fix. What was even the point? Why did the aliens also give potential superpowers to the exiles?
