The Hunger Games, but only the first one.

I suffered through the other two because people kept saying "IT GETS GUD IT GETS GUD JUST YOU WAIT" but both of them were irredeemable shit.

Catching Fire was aight. I think it would've worked better if it was the final book and tied up all the loose ends.

Hunger Games: 8/10

Catching Fire: 5/10

Mockingjay: -6,000,000/10

I occasionally read Star Wars books. They're utter shit but I read them so I understand the lore in the games better. Or at least, that's what I tell myself every time I get one

>> No.5377438

>>5375725
No, I read everything. No time for shame. I wrapped up an article on Lovecraft & Poe and cracked open a history of Archie comics.

Christ, this is so true. I read a few of them back in grade school and they were awful. I appreciated that they kind of expanded the universe, but they were so poorly written.
