i really doubt he said anything as idiotic as this sentence anyway

One hour of one person introducing his syllabus is ruining philosophy for you?

Is there a different session you can take instead? Now's the time to drop.

Maybe because interjecting comedy into a very dry and dense subject like philosophy may enliven the experience of the class and make it more enjoyable for the students and the teacher?

I'm a huge fan of reading philosophy, and I still enjoyed my Philosophy professor doing jokes to make it more fun. Was a total bro. Sounds like you go to a Canadian university.

Feels good. Russell makes some snarky remarks which are entertaining but I don't think I could tolerate his bias for a whole course.

Why would you let him teach you the entirety of philosophy when he wasn't even a philosopher?

these are both obviously misleading but which one is more so? it seems like the distinction between continental and analytic philosophy is that continental philosophers address problems of philosophy by considering them in depth and from dynamic perspectives while analytic philosophers develop systems within which philosophical problems are addressed

can anyone tell me if this is accurate???
