Yfw Education is based on Capital and anyone coming in from the outside (or another country) without their papers to be placed in the section they should be in they will have to start from the bottom

Education is free, but Education that you can use to exchange for commodities isn't.

Exactly, you need institutionalized cultural capital (e.g. diplomas), and often social capital, so you can exchange it for economic capital.
Internalized cultural capital (i.e. your actual knowledge) just isn't enough, especially today.
