okay this isnt another Sanderson thread but I have to start with mentioning his work.

I just tried on Brandon Sanderson for the first time with the Stormlight Archive and enjoyed WoK, but as much as I enjoyed it Im reluctant to start on WoR because of its lack of love interest routes.
It's not the be all and end all of fantasy (or any kind of ficition) for me when a book doesnt have this but im just kind of in the mood for that at the moment.
Maybe his Mistborn series has what im looking for?

Is there any of fantasy series which is similar in plot, but contains a bit more of what im after?
pretty new to fantasy writing as you can no doubt tell.

mistborn has love interest starting in book two, I think

but so does stormlight archive

if you're looking for love interest the second book, Words of Radiance, has it

If you're looking for a super character driven fantasy series with not as much action try Farseer Trilogy.

This is all true, but Sanderson doesn't do relationships well. His best is probably Dalinar's relationship with the queen in TWoK.

Sanderson doesn't exactly *do* love interests in the way I think you're looking for.
Yes, there are love interests and relationships present but they're normally secondary. Warbreaker starts out with a relationship-related plot deal so it is an outlier.
