So I'm currently reading The Moor's Last Sigh by Rushdie and holy fuck, is this fucking guy trolling me or what? Every second word from one of the characters ends in "ofy". Example, "Shutofy your mouth", tiredofy, he wentofied etc. What the fuck? And this cunt is supposed to be one of the greatest authors of our time?

Please tell me this shit gets better and that he introduces new characters a little better. It takes 30 pages of reading before realising the main characters are from fucking Portugal.
