Looks like someone didn't start with the Sumerians and bought into the whole "Greeks" hype.

The Romans thought of space ships first, so why do modern engineers get the credit?

>> No.5281404

>>5281397
The Romans just ripped off the Greeks for the most part, so they don't deserve credit for anything.

Parmenides developed logical argument in the 5th century BC, about 600 years before the equivalent appears in the Indian tradition in the Nyaya Sutras.

i dont really think it's fair to say that the greeks thought of atoms first

their idea of atoms is contradictory to modern atoms

they thought of atoms as the smallest possible unit of mass, indivisible, with no constituent parts

modern atoms, which are a complex of quarks bosons electrons, etc, interacting according to various fundamental forces, would be almost precisely the opposite of the ancient version of atoms

Dolfie was weak though, Holocaust was more about "I can't" i.e. I can't solve social problems without blaming it on some ethnic group, I can't do anything without resentment.

Yes, I think we should put any ability into context of other abilities and disabilities. Looking at it this way, Hitler's ability was a product of his disabilities.

Nietzsche was pretty weak too, but he knew it. His book went beyond him as a person, although there is some nastiness in there too, that he couldn't get rid of as an author.
