>As a child I used my imagination to entertain myself. This was a time before video games or internet, and television stations were picked up by an aerial antenna so there were usually 2 clear stations on any given day.

>As a young adult I used my imagination as an escapism from the harsh realities of life. Now I use my imagination to entertain others.

>Welcome to my page. My stories are from my imagination. Both fantasy and horror which will intrigue you and leave you thinking, "Wow, where does she get this?".

>If you do not see anything interesting on the page today, return tomorrow because my imagination never stops. New books are always in the works.

>Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to message me for any questions about my books. Remember, if you read it you can imagine it, if you imagine it you can live it.

I just don't get it. I'm not well-read, and I'm still writing my first short story, but even I can see how gross this shit is. I don't understand.

I know a guy who likes to read detective novels and he's switched exclusively to self-published ebooks. He says they're fine.

People choose the worst of the worst when giving examples of self-publishing. It's like going on deviantart and finding anime fanart a 13-year-old drew in their lined Social Studies notebook and pasting it up as the grand example of deviantart.

Most self-published stuff is not that great, but there are things out there that aren't as irredeemably bad as what's been posted ITT. You won't find any masterworks but you might find something passably engaging.
