Okay, here's the deal. I basically have a version of ANALYTIC PHILOSOPHY that I'm satisfied with. I'll post that in a few minutes after doublechecking it.

What I've been working on/will be working on tonight is basically the second section of continental, which I'm calling “POSTMODERNISM” (FROM A SORT OF STRUCTURALISM TO THE LATEST).

There will be another "first" section of continental (20TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL (TO A SORT OF STRUCTURALISM) that I'll work on another time, in addition to the amorphous section that I'm calling OTHER right now, which will deal with, basically, economic philosophy, a small amount of 20th century theologies, and analytic ethics/politics.

i was going to make a beginner's guide to books. maybe.

we're literate enough to associate fichte with german idealism and aquinas with medieval scholasticism. a list of books without a commentary is worthless imho

>> No.526053

>>526025

I struggled with how to do this list. Perhaps I'll make a more text-based one later with more commentary. For right now, though, you'll want to look into the books of commentary included next to a lot of the primary source material. I'd actually conceived of the project as mostly dealing with more contemporary philosophy, which is more confusing to beginners, especially in terms of what's what and where to start and whatnot.
