I want to read about him, which books would you recommend?

I can easily get The Alexander Trilogy (historical fiction) by Valerio Massimo Manfredi, but idk if he's any good.

One of Plutarch's "Parallel Lives" biographies is about Alexander whom he compares to Julius Caesar.

Pic would be a good start. Those fiction books are ok, I have read several of his and not been disappointed but they aren't going to be classics if you know what i mean.

Thanks, I think I'll just buy the ones I mentioned, since I can't get the one you recommend, at least not right now.
