Eliezer Yudkowsky is one of the two philosophers remaining in this world.

Why didn't you accept his wisdom, /lit/?

I've never heard any of his wisdom.

Internet autists are now philosophers?

Someone post that thesaurus-laden facebook post in which he asks how to get thin without working out

>Internet autists are now philosophers?
Sounds like a perfect description for a modern day philosopher.

>Someone post that thesaurus-laden facebook post in which he asks how to get thin without working out
Sounds hilarious, someone post it.

I'm going through his Facebook and his status updates are so stilted, they're a pain to read. Like one of those spam emails that just string fancy words along.

As someone else than the previous person, I say yes, read it. Some parts are overly euphotic though.

I love the the part in HPatMoR where he casually mentions how great and amazing Jews are for being an ethnic group that makes up only 2% of the population yet 25% of nobel prize winners while simultaneously arguing against ethnicism.

That's pretty standard Talmudic Jewish philosophy

Anyway I don't agree with him because if I do the demiurge will punish me forever (or maybe not but I can't take that chance)

I find it rather miserable that after the golden age of Continentals from 60s to 80s we have just some analytic autists, zizek and feminists left (feminism is fine, but its blind obedience to humanist values instead of schizoanalysis/deconstruction is a big minus)
