Could you rephrase the question in a way that doesn't imply a narrative and doesn't rely on stupid cliches?

I don't know what you mean? But, what book gave you purpose and inspiration ?

>what book gave you purpose and inspiration ?
You're implying with this questions that

1. A single book can possibly do that and
2. Purpose and inspiration only improve

There are times in my life that went up and down. Sometimes inspired, sometimes not. There is no "one book" that encapsulates my purpose and inspiration, so I can't answer that question. A better question would be, "what books have inspired you the most", or "describe the ways in which reading has given you inspiration and purpose"

Thank you. Yes, now let me ask you what books have inspired you the most? Or could you describe the ways in which reading has given you inspiration and purpose?

>what books have inspired you the most?

Well, I've been inspired by many books I've read and for different reasons. I found Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil inspiring in a fractal of ways. I found Notes From the Underground to be inspiring for a very different reason. I also find mathematics inspiring, because I enjoy patterns.

Didn't a famous capitalist say 'there's no such thing as a free lunch'?

I think he means that your fatass doesn't have to fertilize, rely on the weather, and cultivate the land in order to feed yourself but you can pay others to do that for you, and in a much more efficient way.
