Okay then... I disagree with your thesis, but I can sorta see where you're coming from.

There's been rioting and madness and bullshit like that all over the place for pretty much forever, and not just outside the US. That said, 9/11 was more or less the point I became aware of the world outside my own town, so I can understand your "everything is different now" stance. Not sure it warrants existential/solipsistic crises though.

I liked the wavy effect, particularly on the shot of the corpse lying on the ground. Nifty 3D illusion.
