Hey /lit/, I'm a pretty big DFW fan, but I haven't read The Pale King yet. I've been putting it off because it is incomplete.

Is it still fulfilling despite not being complete?

Are Kafka's novels not fulfilling?

No, it's very fulfilling. It's scarcely an overall story or novel and not so much as a bunch of loosely connected short stories. The IRS takes the main focus but just from the first few hundred pages come short stories that have no effect later on. You're only unfulfilled if you want to be for this book.

That actually sounds really cool.
