/lit/ this is my first time making a thread here and i need your help.

Im looking for a book any book where the main character actually makes sense. over the last 10 days or so ive read about 10 books. some from the recommended reading in the sticky. Some MCs have been atleast decent but most are the dumbest shits ever, cowards and just plain stupid.

If anyone knows of a book where the MC isnt a chickenshit and has a brain, please for the love of god i beg of you! TELL ME!

List of books ive read since i began:
Mistborn trlogy - i read the first book then i was fed up and pretty much just jumped through til the end of the 3rd book.

Coldfire trilogy - ugghhh just no.
