Are there any contemporary authors writing something interesting about contemporary life besides Tao Lin? If so, who?

not the guy you're replying too, but this short story is a fun read http://www.bearparade.com/nosferatu/
if you like it you may read his other works, but they're not as good, he's a less autistic version of tao lin

sorry, but i disagree—his first novel was satisfying in a perverse, yet hopeful(?) way; it exposed the flaws of the traditional family structure without being overly cynical. freedom, on the other hand, was poorly thought-out and seemed like a huge liberal jizz-stain.

but i'm 12, what do i know
