If you are isolated, you have a narrowly constrained view of reality which is of little value for anyone in a different scenario. You don't ask a man whose been trapped in a closet his entire life to give you advice about, say, camping in the desert, or how to make love, or literally anything.

Scandinavia is effectively in that closet. Their geographic separation has largely insulated them from all external geopolitical conflict pre-world war II, and even then, only Finland, Denmark and Norway really took the brunt of it. Any country so isolated has little of value to say for a person in a different setting, let alone in a modern and connected world.

It's not a whole lot of this >>5075526 and this >>5075542.
Superficially, it may seem like it is. But the true meaning behind the seducing comes from the rest of Either/Or.
There's also always Fear and Trembling, The Sickness Unto Death, and The Concept of Anxiety. How about some entry-level Fear and Trembling? Honestly, it would be a waste of time to read The Seducer's Diary, a chapter of another book.
