I know you probably hate high fantasy but I haven't been reading books in a LONG time. I used to read a lot when I was younger but then I went full weeabo and only read comics and manga. Yesterday I was passing by a magazine stand when I notice that an editorial where I live is editing Tolkien books at a really low price. I've already read the LOTR trilogy , the silmarilion and the hobbit , but back when I read them I didn't know about Sons of Hurin. Is it a good read for someone who enjoys the genre? Is the pacing good for a person who is coming back from "POW POM BANG EXPLOSION" ? Or is it a read that requires patience and steadiness?
(pic completely unrelated of course)

If books arent your thing dont spend your time on them. Life is short, do what makes you happy. To answer your question, the pacing is pretty slow but its an interesting read and if you liked Tolkiens other work youll enjoy this one.

Also isnt it The Children of Húrin?

Sorry kid. Just bought Book of the New Sun on hardcover and the entire Black Company series on Kindle. Maybe go upstairs and ask your mommy for more allowance.

Protip: you were duped by an organized ring of conmen.

Stealing from the least profitable artistic medium is not virtuous, you're just a fat autistic faggot who wants his life subsidized.

Do you think that the money you spend on books goes to the author? Protip, the author gets _at best_ 1% of the money you pay for books. By pirating you're stealing from distributors and producers, the lowest of the low in the hierarchy of human scum.
