I'll start, not all of my books, just what I can be bothered taking pictures of, lalalala.

Google is your friend:
Pāli is a Middle Indo-Aryan language (or prakrit) of India. It is best known as the language of many of the earliest extant Buddhist scriptures, as collected in the Pāḷi Canon or Tipitaka, and as the liturgical language of Theravada Buddhism.

Do you people really only have so few books that you can fit them into one photo?
I have three shelves in my bedroom and two in my living room.

How is Pali going? I'm learning Sanskrit myself but I understand most texts (The Pali Canon comes to mind) are actually written in Pali. Feels d'oh man.

Going slowly, hehe.
Also, depends on what you want to read. The Pali Canon is of course written in Pali, but all the Mahayana Buddhist texts are written in Sanskrit, as well as a whole host of other Indian literature.

My shelves are pathetically small. I don't have a used book store within like 50 miles of my house and I refuse to pay the ridiculous amount of money for new books so I just use the library most of the time. Most of the books I do have are either gifts or stuff I couldn't find at my library or on bittorrent.

Have you studied Sanskrit at all? God I hate it sometimes. It's like Pali on hardmode. 8 nominal cases, countless paradigmatic noun endings, 10 verb groups, 3 (singular, dual, plural) persons. GAH.

Someone looked at my Shelfari page? That's...hmm.

Yeah, I did give up on it. I don't really want to spend much time cataloging my collection and have the data belong to someone else. I've switched to Excel.

Married to a Russian native speaker. I've finally been studying Russian again, though, and soon I will be able to speak as well as a 2-year-old.

I'm old enough to be concerned about retirement. Fortunately, I didn't follow any of the advice in that book.

Abso-fucking-lutely nothing, that's what--if you're married to a girl who likes them. Also, they feel really good on your penis.

37. Old enough to worry about it, young enough to know how to use the e-mails.

I grew up on Intellivision. Atari is for fags.
