I re-read the first three Artemis Fowl books today while I was sick in bed. It was cosy. As. Fuck. I think nothing is more cozy than childrens lit.

I always thought the Redwall series and the Pullman trilogy were comfy reading.
That and the Abhorsen books

I remember buying and reading the last Alex Rider book when it came out since I liked the series in middle school. I was kind of surprised how fast I chewed through it and how much fun it was. Children's lit is like candy for the brain.
