>hurr durr why aren't women as deep as Socrates, as disciplined as Marcus Aurelius, as ambitious as Napoleon...hurr they must all be shit and shallow!!

Why do philosophers have retarded expectations about women?

They are just supposed to be kind and generous. If they are mentally stable and cute then you got yourself a keeper.

Feminism may be fallacious, but his arguments are even less supported by evidence.

>> No.4946405

is the book even worth reading. Will it worsen by secretly unfavourable view of the average woman.

>>4946242

A true male intellectual is by nature misogynistic. That is a part of what makes him intelligent enough to qualify as an intellectual.

If your view is "secretly" unfavorable, women can probably tell. It very likely manifests in how you act toward them, particularly in your facial expressions and body language.

>> No.4947225

all his assumptions are wrong, you dont need to drop misogyny to understand that.

>Actually saying hurr today

>> No.4948910

I think it's a shame the first 50-100 pages are mildly pseudoscientific and bunk because the rest of it is actually really good and can be superimposed theoretically on more modern stuff. Probably a lot of people end up dropping it. Especially people who are only reading it so they can find stuff to scoff at it and reaffirm their devotion to the glorious status quo.

>> No.4949232

sexist literature

Stay offended.

>> No.4949291

Didn't read it, but based on my research, Weininger sounds like The Supreme Gentleman in a past life. If so they didn't learn much. Poor guys.

>> No.4949296

Weininger was a genius.
