I'm about to start The Master and Margarita.

A Giant Black Cat who enjoys vodka and chess. How could I go wrong?

Any thoughts from those who have read it?

Eddard dies at the end.

Read it when I was younger and a lot of it went over my head.

Had it assigned in college and appreciated it a lot more.

i think i want to keep going. we were influenced by 90s rap and cyclops cat. we improvised all the songs and used garage band to fix everything up. we made a song called "fat goth girl thou art beautiful".

those were the good old days. ah, high school. i certainly was cool back then.

A friend of mine was convinced that this is the work of genius and forced a copy upon me. I read the first chapter and was struck by how smug and convinced of his genius the author was and how bad the prose was (although this probably had more to do with the translator/editor.

I might try again later. Apparently there are better, more recent translations. And the concept sounds fascinating.

I thought it was fairly average. I'm not really into books where the author is so painfully self-aware.

Does Behemoth really die?
