So I just red Bright Lights Big City and it was ok, wanted to know if lit could recommend any more books along a similar theme?

>single male protagonist
>wanders around the city
>drugs and bitches

I'm looking to catch that lone city adventurer vibe, you know?

Hmm, I just saw the film adaptation a few days ago. On a fairly superficial level, the book it has the most in common with is probably American Psycho.

>Bolivian marching powder
>Vacuous girls in nightclubs
>Talking Heads quotes
>Songs by New Order
>Trashy newspaper headlines

But that probably doesn't help much.

>lone city adventure
