Many say no. lit is big on The Fall and the Myth of Sisyphus.

His most popular, The Stranger is a simple book, really. (Only one I've read)

It's a good novel but (as per the butterfly) I'd say Myth of Sisyphus is his best work, if only since it explains his philosophy better than any of his novels could
