I've taken a break from One Hundred Years Of Solitude. I just passed the part where [spoiler]the colonel dies[/spoiler] but I don't feel an incentive to go on. Sure, the prose is beautiful is some parts but I feel like the story is just rambling. Is it worth going on or is it much of the same stuff?
